Reader Fred drew my attention to this Jordan-related photo on Flickr [click to enlarge]. From what I can see it is a snapshot of the arrival of a military convoy (I assume it is a British convoy) at Marka Airport. I just love old photos of Jordan. |

What? This one isn’t your favorite? 😉 Apparently the owner of that Flickr account had a father that was quite the scholar and teacher, taking her with him to many a “foreign” land. In the picture on the blog here, he’s tucked in the back middle wearing a wide-brimmed hat. It’s a curious collection indeed.
A photo with an interesting title; where’s Jerusalem exactly? (It definitely predates 1967)

Curtains onboard airplanes? They certainly look nicer than the plastic window shutters.

Where’s the other friend of yours who used to send you old pictures of Amman?
I noticed the PUMA bag too! It really does stand out.
Oh wow look at that PUMA bag that clearly stands out and looks practically new.
