For those living outside of Jordan and are interested in seeing the music video for the song Ya Amman, which was released to condemn the terrorist attacks in Jordan, here is the link. The link comes courtesy of Yazeed from the newly established blog Jordan First. Yazeed along with his brothers have been doing a good job of updating their blog with Jordan-centric posts. Keep it up guys! |
Thanks Natasha for the post and the link.
About the video, I respect everyone’s opinions on the video. I think you guys at least should give them credit for creating the video within such a short period of time! we’re talk about 24-48 hours here!
It’s a very warm idea, but I can’t say that I liked the song, the voices (with the exception of the first female voice that came on), the video, or the way they stood around with their hands like Khaleeji singers. It doesn’t sound like Amman to me. Just my humble opinion of course. Otherwise, I think a song to commemorate the victims is very moving.
hamzah, its not just that they don’t seem to be good in front of camera. I just didn’t like the way there were spurts of unknown things on screen for split seconds, and the over use of dissolves. Such a song is an opportunity to tell a story, to show emotion. I thought it was dry.
Though thanks natasha for the link
The song is nice, the singers are good and seem talented.
They don’t seem talented in front of the camera though :p
Thanks Natasha for the link.
Also, Thanks for efforts in your great Blog, which we love to check always. God Bless Jordan
I didn’t like it. Didn’t do it for me.
