We spent last weekend with Mom and Dad T in the breathtaking Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. On our way back home we made our way up and through the Shenandoah National Park to get a chance to see the fall colors before the peak ends and the leaves begin to fall. What we saw from the Skyline Drive was simply stunning and definitely a fresh sight to my Jordanian eyes. The cornucopia of colors was something I have never seen in any of the countries I have visited. Now I understand why some consider fall their favorite season of the year. I really had no idea what this season was all about. Here’s a picture from the super-talented hubby for your enjoyment; more to come he says. |
I love the Shenandoah Valley. It is one of my favorite places to visit in the States in the fall. The colors, the smells, the crispness in the air…absolutely gorgeous.
