As Ameen said on his blog: “moving sucks," and moving is exactly what we’ve been doing for the past two days. We moved north into the DC metro region after finding a lovely, quaint apartment that will hold us for awhile. I’m really exhausted and can barely finish this post. I might not be able to update this blog for a bit as I really don’t know when everything will be sorted out at our place. I need some time to settle down so I can get back to blogging regulary. We’ll see how it goes. Meanwhile, I leave you with this New York Times’ piece that managed to sour my mood. It is about ‘Jordanian Jihadists.’Take a look if you feel like ruining your day.

hi natasha
welcome to the area. if u need any help please let me know, i know moving is such a hassle. where did u find the apartment?
i actually read this article on friday and wanted to write a post about it but i was kind of speechless.
anyway good luck with the moving. and please let us meet when soon.
Hope all the unpacking goes well!
About that piece fr the NYT, someone please tell my why it is right or even rational for Jordanian Muslims to kill Iraqi Muslims to get back at Americans? I don’t get it!
My Iraqi friends (Sunni, Shi’a, Kurd, Assyrian and Chaldean)have said that their Arab brethren never came to their aid under Saddam, and now they say that their neighbors are worse enemies than the US.
Good news, two Jordanians that have been going to Iraq to set off bombs have had a change of heart and won’t be going back. They could see they were only killing innocent people.
How about having to move twice in 40 days? Yes, in 40 days. I had to do that last September when I failed to find a house after selling the one I have been living in -not good at syncronizing selling and buying-. I ended up in an Extended Stay America , while the other stuff went to a Public Storage. Then, I had to move again. At least, I didnt have to move for long distances.
