Not to downplay any of the other matters, but I would like to highlight Ali Abdulemam’s situation. Currently the Bahraini blogging community is dissecting the material from his forum. Once we realize what is going on, we’ll need some international pressure to secure his release.
This is significant to show the world that Bahrain and the Middle East can handle public criticism of their governments. We need an honest media and an honest judiciary, free from the interests of the oligarchies.
