‘Jo’ features Tariq Nasser

Tariq Nasser on the cover of Jo

I was very glad to find that JO magazine decided to put Jordanian
musician Tariq Nasser on the cover of this month’s issue. It’s about time no? Nasser, founder of Rum musical group, has contributed tremendously to the development of the music scene in the Kingdom. I love his work. This recognition is well deserved.

    You’re mistaking excitement with overanxiety. =)
    But you’re right, I became a bit overzealous.
    Plus, the last time I was featured in a publication was back in 1996 when McD’s opened. Al-Aswaq did an interview with me about my feelings re: McDonald’s coming to Jordan. You can imagine the hellish reality of my highschool existence for the 2 weeks after that.

    For some reason, they decided to publish it in the March issue. I guess we just have to wait and see.

    So no Jordanian bloggers article? The hajjeh (who wasnt too happy when i told her you referred to her as such 🙂 ) bought it yesterday and didnt find me…
