Inspired by Roba’s quest for images from Jordan, I decided to highlight one snapshot from Jordan that I took a couple of years ago while visiting Um Qais, a Greco-Roman ruin in the north of the kingdom. This picture is a favorite of mine, as it shows the melding of two diverse cultures from two different eras on the same ground.

I love this pic 🙂
well Arash,
I told you it is my favourite one;-) Okay I will try to highlight something different I promise;-)
Linda,
I’m sure you will have a wonderful time in Jordan. You can check my Jordan snapshots album here
for more pictures of Jordan. I will also try highlight more pictures every once in a while;-)
This picture just makes me all the more excited to graduate next semester and visit Jordan with my family after graduation. I have never been to Jordan so you can imagine how excited I am. This picture makes me imagine how I will get the opportunity to learn about the historical aspects of Jordan and the chance to interact with the Jordanian people. I am really excited!
Hehe, this photo is incorporated in your banner in addition to being in the “Jordan snapshots” section in the sidebar. I didn’t think highlighting it anymore was possible! Highligh “The Nabatean city” photo with that two-headed camel!
