Kudos to the man behind the Planet

This is a quick post to salute the work of Jordanian blogger Isam Bayazidi. He just launched a new version of Jordan Planet and it looks really great. The new version has some additional features like "announcements," "memberships," plus a section for "friends of Jordan Planet." The site is certainly moving in the right direction and becoming a top-notch community. Jordan Planet has spawned a vibrant, vocal on-line Jordanian community that is as diverse and eloquent as some of those more well-established Arab blogging communities out there. Isam is a pioneer and should get credit for shaping our wonderful blogging society. I take my hat off to you Isam.
